The mission of Operation Breakthrough is to provide a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and to empower their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education.

Impact

  • Operation Breakthrough serves 700+ children each week providing therapeutic services, educational programs, health services, and family advocates.
  • The Early Childhood Education Program provides hands-on learning experiences, supportive teacher interactions, and language-rich environments for 404 children between ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age each week.
  • The before/after school enrichment programming serves 300 children K-8 each week.
  • The Ignition Lab provides workforce development programming for 300 students ages 14-18 each week.
  • The MakerSpace provides 280 children with the opportunity to create, problem solve, and tinker with real materials.
  • 6 families are provided with permanent, supportive housing each year to promote healthy family relationships, positive mental health, and provided support within a drug and alcohol free environment.
