National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Each April the Awareness Committee leads a commemoration of National Child Abuse Prevention Month to educate the community on ways to keep children safe and prevent child abuse.
Through a unified marketing campaign, community events and partnerships with local businesses, the committee will coordinate efforts for the Kansas City area to participate in this important awareness month.

Community Care Event
The Awareness Committee organizes a community care event each fall, working with local youth to identify a relevant topic and focus each year. Plans for the 2025 Community Care event will be announced soon.
